Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, is trying to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld. Aside from a Bat-Signal in the final shot of the season finale, we never got our Robert Pattinson cameo in “The Penguin.” This short film from IMDb tries to answer: Where the hell was Batman?. Colin Farrell fought tooth and nail to get his version of The Penguin to smoke tobacco in The Batman (2022), but he failed.

I have been waiting for The Penguin since it was first announced as a series and I can say that it is exactly as good as I expected. Colin Farrell is absolutely fantastic as Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin. He was a standout in The Batman and is even better in the lead role.
I hope we get to hear more stories like this from this world
The two of them are fighting to see who is the number one gangster in Gotham and “bring order to all the chaos”. Some were worried that a supporting character like The Penguin wouldn’t carry the show and wouldn’t work without Batman or Bruce Wayne drama in its own right. It’s a dark, gritty crime drama that is so much fun to watch unfold.
