Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a long-running rivalry that comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same location was also used to film Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I laugh at some of the reviews that are clearly written by readers who take themselves far too seriously. This is Jilly Cooper’s adaptation. It' ; is not an intellectually or morally evaluable series. It’s so much fun. Excellent actors. Yes, RCB’s hair and eyes are the wrong color. As is Taggies hair. But they work. Somehow.RCB will disappoint some for this reason. But Alex Hassell captures everything else about him. Danny Dyer is perfect. David Tennant is EXCELLENT as always. And Aidan Turner is just wonderful, if a little young to play Declan.Falters a bit in the last third. But yes. It’s incredibly fun. I watched everything at once.
