Kiefer’s father, Donald Sutherland, starred alongside Clint in Kelly’s Heroes (1970) and Svemirski’s Cowboys (2000)
Line of Events
A family man serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial struggles with a serious moral dilemma that he could use to influence the jury’s verdict and possibly convict or acquit the wrong killer. Kiefer Sutherland got the role by writing to Clint Eastwood, telling him how much of a fan he was and that he wanted to star in one of his films before he retired.
Then you absolutely must see this film!
Are you, like me, fed up with the barrage of superhero movies with exorbitant budgets, rushed visual effects, boring characters, and bad writing?! Not only is it Eastwood’s last film, but it’s a really good one too.
What would I do?!
Well written by Jonathan Abrams with very real and relatable content, you will definitely leave the theater thinking, “Oh my God!” What if it happened to me?! The actors deliver great performances and evoke real emotions.
I am shocked at how little marketing the studio did for this film
I am so glad I saw it and I hope other filmmakers who want to bring real, wholesome and relatable films to theaters can do so too.
